Tyllus is built for import teams that move roughly 10 to 100+ ocean containers a month into the United States or Mexico and work with several suppliers, freight forwarders and customs brokers. Purchasing, logistics, finance and management share one record per shipment, and a single operator can also start alone with self-serve sign-up.
Yes. Tyllus tracks containers automatically for 11 ocean carriers: MSC, ONE, Evergreen, HMM, Yang Ming, ZIM, PIL, SM Line, TURKON, Arkas and Global Feeder, and re-checks every ETA daily. For any other shipping line, the Tyllus team checks the ETA and fills in the ports and departure date for you.
Tyllus re-times every step that depends on it: the customs request to your broker, the missing-documents check, the forwarder invoice request and the final documents check. The change is logged in the shipment history, and a shipment past its ETA without a confirmed arrival is flagged Delayed.
For US imports, Tyllus reads proforma and commercial invoices, packing lists, house bills of lading, ISF filings, CBP Form 7501 entry summaries, and freight forwarder and customs broker invoices. For Mexico it also reads the pedimento. Every value is double-checked, uncertain values are marked Needs review, and 23 shipment fields are cross-checked across documents, partners and carrier data.
No. Each partner gets a secure link for one shipment and one request, so they can confirm bookings, ISF filing, customs clearance or arrival and upload documents without signing up. Tyllus sends the requests and reminders automatically and warns you when a partner goes quiet.
Costs are created from the documents Tyllus reads: goods from the commercial invoice, freight from the forwarder invoice, duty and fees line by line from the 7501, and broker fees from the broker invoice. Landed cost per shipment, invoice coverage, spend by lane and partner, and missing-invoice alerts are on the Costs and Reports pages.
Yes. Partner requests, reminders, document checks and ETA re-timing run on their own for every shipment, so more containers do not mean more chasing. Teams work with Owner, Admin and Member roles, import shipments and containers from spreadsheets, export their data, and can ask Tyllus AI questions across up to 1,000 shipments.
Import your existing spreadsheet in any column layout: Tyllus matches the columns, and only the PO number is required. You can also open a sample shipment, track a single container first or book a 15-minute setup call. No integration project is needed to start.
No. Tyllus is the operations workspace that coordinates them. Your forwarder moves the cargo and your licensed customs broker files the entry; Tyllus sends them the right requests, collects their confirmations and documents, and keeps every shipment record complete.
Every workspace is private and separated from all others, every action is checked against the user's role, partner links expire and open only one request, and data is encrypted in transit and at rest. The Security page explains each control.
